Maira Khwaja ('16) is a UChicago alum who now directs public impact strategy and outreach for the Invisible Institute. As an educator and multimedia producer, Maira's work centers on the Youth / Police Project, which builds conversations with young people (ages 16-22) on the South Side about their everyday encounters with policing.
Join Chicago Studies for a conversation with Maira Khwaja to learn how the Invisible Institute is working toward police accountability and rethinking public safety in Chicago.
