Weekly Open Studio

A collaboration between UAD and Chicago Studies

Open Studio (Wednesdays, 5-8 PM, MADD Center - 1st Floor Crerar Library) is un-programmed time for students interested in architecture/urban design and related disciplines to meet one another, work together on projects, share ideas and techniques, and build community. While the space is designed mostly for students enrolled in, or interested in, architecture studio classes, all are welcome, and no registration is required. You're welcome just to drop in, or to stay for longer. Food will be served, and some Wednesdays, there will be optional workshops/events alongside the free space to work.

This event is open to all invitees regardless of vaccination status and, because of ongoing health risks to the unvaccinated, those who are unvaccinated are expected to adopt the risk mitigation measures advised by public health officials (masking and social distancing, etc.). Public dining may not be safe for all and carries a risk for contracting COVID-19, particularly for those unvaccinated. Participants will not know the vaccination status of others, including venue staff, and should follow appropriate risk mitigation measures.
